DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all. As geopolitical tensions strain the world economy, create supply chain disruptions, cause unstable energy prices, and reduce trade, achieving Goal 8 will be extremely difficult.

We must increase youth employment opportunities, reduce informal employment, close the gender pay gap, safeguard workers’ rights, and enhance access to financial services to ensure sustained and inclusive economic growth. Sustainable economic policies that support innovation and entrepreneurship, ensure social justice, and create inclusive job opportunities—especially for women and young people—are necessary to accelerate this progress.
