Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) has made its first entry into the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, marking another step in the Collegeโs continuing journey toward sustainability, global engagement, and international benchmarking.
In its debut in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026, CSPC ranked 1,894th among 2,016 participating institutions from 110 countries worldwide.
For CSPC, entering the ranking provides an initial international benchmark of its sustainability-related practices and initiatives. More importantly, the exercise establishes a baseline for continuous institutional improvement, allowing the Institution to identify areas of strength, opportunities for development, and ways of strengthening the documentation and integration of sustainability across its various functions.
CSPC also ranked 126th in the Philippines and 1,176th in Asia. The national and regional placements provide an additional point of reference, while the more significant outcome for the College is its successful entry into the global sustainability benchmarking process and the baseline it now has for future submissions.
The 2026 submission was facilitated by the CSPC Center for International Relations and Linkages (CIRL), headed by A/Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, as part of the Centerโs continuing efforts to expand the Collegeโs participation in international initiatives, networks, and benchmarking mechanisms.
Through CIRLโs facilitation of the application and international benchmarking process, sustainability becomes part of the Collegeโs broader engagement with global frameworks and platforms that can inform institutional learning and improvement.
