PCA Region V taps CSPC for educational program on agriculture

The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) – Region V forged a partnership with Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the creation of an educational program in the agricultural industry.

In a ceremonial signing held Thursday, 23 March 2023, at the College Board Room, the two agencies formalized the alliance with the presence of its two heads, Regional Manager Mateo B. Zipagan of PCA Region V and President Charlito P. Cadag of CSPC.

The MoA aims to establish “Coco Eskuwela,” an instructional platform that will provide comprehensive information about coconut farming and raise awareness of different agricultural development programs.

To realize this objective, CSPC will be leveraging its pioneering Broadcast Center to build a multimedia presence among the public, particularly coconut farmers, coconut plantation business owners, and the local community across the Bicol region.

The radio program for “Coco Eskuwela” is set to be launched on 14 April 2023 through 94.3 FMR University FM and 87.5 DZCC FM.
