Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, SUC President III, is one of the recipients of this year’s Gawad Banyuhay Award for Resiliency given by Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC) in a ceremony held Friday, 3 March 2023 at the Capitol Convention Center, Pili, Camarines Sur.
The recognition was personally presented by CBRC President and CEO Dr. Carl E. Balita to Dr. Cadag for exemplifying resiliency in his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other academic heads who received the award were Mr. Roberto F. Palanca of Holy Trinity College of Camarines Sur, Atty. Emanuel SD. Ortega of the University of Saint Anthony, Mr. Mario C. Villanueva of Naga College Foundation, and Dr. Alex H. Navarroza of Bicol State College of Applied Science and Technology.
The Gawad Banyuhay “recognizes individuals or groups for living and leading an exemplary life for others through transformative community service and engagement.” It also aims to “celebrate the iconic lives of personalities in their pursuit of life purpose amid adversities.”
