Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) strengthened its academic and international engagement as a strategic partner of the 2026 Language and Literature International Conference (LLICON 2026), held from September 30 to October 2, 2026, at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) in Pili, Camarines Sur.
Organized by the Bicol Association of Language and Literature Teachers, Inc. (BALLT) in partnership with Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) and other academic and professional institutions, the conference carried the theme “Reimagining the Future Trajectory of Language and Literature in the Age of AI, Multimodality, Global Citizenship, Inclusivity, and Sustainability.”
Representing CSPC were A/Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, International Relations Officer; Dr. Marlon S. Pontillas, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Dr. Dan Ferreth Fajardo, BAELS Program Chair.
LLICON 2026 brought together scholars, educators, researchers, practitioners, and students to examine how artificial intelligence, multimodality, global citizenship, inclusivity, sustainability, and intercultural engagement are influencing language and literature education.
As a strategic partner, CSPC contributed to an academic platform that promotes scholarly exchange and collaboration while strengthening professional linkages with educators and institutions within and beyond the Bicol Region. The engagement also supports the College’s continuing efforts to broaden academic networks and participate in national and international conversations on language, culture, technology, and education.
