CSPC eyes partnership with Google Philippines

The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), led by SUC President III Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr., met with representatives from Google Philippines on August 13, 2026, to explore potential collaboration under the Google Reference School Program.

Discussions focused on digital transformation, Chromebook deployment, ChromeOS Flex, device management, professional development, certifications, and emerging Google AI tools for higher education.

CSPC was identified as a potential candidate for the first Google Reference University in the Philippines, subject to program requirements and formal partnership arrangements.

As next steps, Google Philippines will provide program and certification details, while the Google for Education partner will prepare a budgetary proposal for the proposed Chromebook deployment. Both parties will also work toward formalizing the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The initiative reinforces CSPC’s commitment to digital innovation and a technology-enabled learning environment.
