Congratulations to Dr. Eden Q. Paniterce, for the successful publication of her study โCoping Strategies of Solo Parent-Students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Collegesโ in the Journal of Carcinogenesis, a Scopus Indexed Journal.
Her study sheds light on the lived experiences of solo parent-students, highlighting their challenges in balancing academic, personal, and family responsibilities. The study also revealed that despite financial, emotional, and educational struggles, these students display resilience by strengthening their faith, valuing their children as gifts, engaging in hobbies, and using positive coping strategies to overcome the adversity.
This work not only contributes to academic discourse but also serves as a basis for relevant activities for the Center for Gender and Development (GAD) for solo parent-students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. May this inspire other researchers to indulge themselves on a productive and meaningful scholarly contributions.
