CSPC’s brightest set to compete in WorldSkills ASEAN as TESDA gives send-off

CSPCeans forming the delegation of the Philippines for the 13th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition are given a send-off ceremony by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Central Office at the Tandang Sora Hall of TESDA Complex in Taguig City on Monday, 17 July 2023.

Secretary Suharto T. Mangudadatu, Director-General of TESDA, led the program and conveyed his wholehearted support to the contingent.

Two teams from CSPC are set to represent the country in the said international tournament: Christian Lazarus Asanza (Competitor) and Engr. Eddie L. Cabaltera (Expert) for Electrical Installation, and Francis Arroyo (Competitor) and Mr. Rey T. Cortez (Expert) for Information Network Cabling.

Young talents hailing from entire Southeast Asia will come together to Singapore for the 13th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition to contend across 22 skill areas. It will be staged from 23 to 25 July 2023 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Also present in the send-off ceremony were Mr. Joseph D. Illo, Director of the CSPC TESDA Training and Assessment Center; Mr. Vencel Angelo R. Sanglay, Expert for Graphics Design Technology; and Mr. Danjho P. Orbita, Expert for IT Network Administration.
