CSPCean bags an award in the 2nd National DABEST Research and Development Congress

Analyn Sayin, a 4th-year AB English Language Studies (AB English) student of the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), was hailed as the 2nd Best Presenter (Arts and Humanities Strand) at the recently concluded 2nd National DABEST Research and Development Congress, which was held at Eastern Visayas State University, Tacloban City, Leyte, last October 26-28, 2022, with the theme “Expanding Engagements of Young Scholars in the Academe through Science, Technology, and Innovation.”

Dr. Marlon SD. Pontillas served as Sayin’s mentor as she wrote her winning research paper titled, “Seen Zoning: A Communication Barrier in Online Academic Settings.”

The aforementioned event served as the platform for participants from various universities and colleges across the nation to share the results of their research projects, introduce them to fresh ideas and information, and build their capacity for multidisciplinary research and research dissemination in areas such as development studies, the arts and humanities, business and economics, education, the sciences and engineering, technology, and innovation.

Analyn Sayin was known as the Rank 1 in the President’s List during the 2nd CASSAP. She was also the Chief Language Officer of the Language Studies Societies, and the Vice-Governor (Internal Affairs) of the College of Arts and Sciences-College Student Council (CAS-CSC).
