The Office of the VPAA shall oversee, supervise, develop, plan, and facilitate the implementation of existing and new academic programs.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs shall have the following duties and responsibilities:

  1. Assist the President in planning, supervising and coordinating the academic programs of the College;
  2. Administer and supervise plans and programs of the College, student services and other offices whose activities are related to academic matters;
  3. Supervise the preparation and implementation of the budget for the College, student services and other academic units;
  4. Recommend to the College President the designation of Deans, Academic Directors, Program Chairs and other special academic designations in consultation with the concerned units;
  5. Coordinate the preparation and implementation of research proposals in the College;
  6. Monitor and evaluate the academic programs of the College including faculty workload;
  7. Initiate the formulation and implementation of new and appropriate curricular programs;
  8. Initiate the formulation and implementation of faculty resource development program;
  9. Recommend the PRAISE Committee deserving faculty for awards and other incentives;
  10. Conduct preliminary investigation on complaints on faculty members and staff and submit recommendatory actions to the College President;
  11. Recommend the creation of additional college/units within the sector when necessary; and
  12. Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the College President.
