Student Affairs Services

The office shall be headed by a Director. The Director shall at least have a master’s degree and an Assistant professor with at least three years of administrative experience.

The units under the Student Affairs and Services Office shall be: Sports and Cultural Development, Multi-faith Office, Bands and Majorettes, Guidance Services, and SPARK Publication. Its objectives are to: 

1. Plan, organize, coordinate, and implement student programs and activities in relation to student cultural and extra-curricular activities, health and wellness, and placement;
2. Investigate student disciplinary cases and recommend possible disciplinary actions to the Vice-President for Academic affairs. 
3. Accredit student organization to operate under the charter and rules of the University;
4. Coordinate University-wide students’ activities;
5. Ensure effective student services system based on cooperation and respect for human values, committed towards academic excellence and individual development by creating and developing well-rounded educational pro-grams, unifying the students for the fulfillment of their aspirations in life, providing communal and efficient services and instilling the essence of subsidiary leadership;
6. Promote the development programs for students in cooperation with the University and student organizations con-cerned to help them realize  their potentials and enhance the campus atmosphere;
7. Ensure effective supervision of recognized student organizations and their respective faculty advisers;
8. Accredit student organizations and conduct orientation programs for freshmen student through the Guidance and Counseling Unit;
9. Promote harmonious relationship with other student affairs services coordinators in other campuses;
10. Coordinate University-wide students’ activities and 
11. Perform other duties and functions as delegated by the University President.
