The IAAU is the Information Unit/Arm of the College like Public Information Office (for government and public agencies) or Public Relations Office (for private agencies and non-government organizations).
It serves both the INTERNAL and EXTERNAL PUBLICS of the institution. Internal refers to the Top Administration (Board of Trustees, Office of the College President, Clusters heads congruent to the four-fold functions of Instruction, Research, Extension, Production and Entrepreneurial Development), faculty, non-teaching staff, and students. External refers to the government-regulatory bodies: LGU-Nabua, CHED, CSC, DBM, COA, DOST; the church, business community, etc. It may also have Quasi-Internal/External like the Alumni (through its Associations and Chapters), PTA, extension partners, International and local partners in research, etc.
Unlike among government-owned and state colleges and universities, it also features the Alumni Affairs unit, providing services to its alumni through the Association and its programs/activities.
The CSPC Broadcast Center is an attached Information Unit/Arm (to IAAU) of the College through broadcast services, particularly RADIO and (soon) TELEVISION. Its franchise is from the Philippine Collective Media Corporation (PCMC) as affiliated stations. Specifically, the radio unit is FMR 94.3 (in the FM band) and the TV unit is Channel 50 (in the UHF band). FMR94.3 transmits at 5,000 watts. Channel 50 will soon transmit at 1.2 kilo watts. It also supervises an attached FM station which is DZCC 87.5 (also in the FM band) with a lower transmission power of 10 watts.
Most of its programming are mainly educational reinforcing and promoting its services as an educational institution.
