The Center for Research in Integrative Social & Special Sciences and Policy (CRIS3P) is the premier research arm of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary knowledge across fields of social sciences, mathematics, public policy, governance, and allied domains. As a catalyst for innovation, CRIS3P brings together diverse academic disciplines to generate evidence-based research and policies that address pressing regional, national, and global challenges.

The office shall perform the following functions:

a) Advance integrative and interdisciplinary research that bridges public policy, management, education, health, mathematics, gender studies, entrepreneurship, humanities, and other allied social sciences to address complex societal challenges.

b) Drive evidence-based policymaking through rigorous research in public governance, administrative systems, and human services to support sustainable development and institutional responsiveness.

c) Lead innovations in education and pedagogy, exploring research-based strategies that enhance curriculum development, teaching-learning processes, and inclusive education systems.

d) Promote gender-responsive and socially inclusive research that fosters equality, protects marginalized groups, and influences inclusive policy reforms.

e) Build collaborative networks among academic institutions, government agencies, civil society, and the private sector to support impactful interdisciplinary research and policy advocacy across various fields.

f) Support cultural studies, linguistic development, and creative communication, encouraging research in arts and humanities that preserves heritage and promotes intercultural understanding.

g) Explore solutions to improve public health, wellness, and social care system through integrative studies involving health sciences, community development, and social services.

h) Drive research in entrepreneurship and business innovation, particularly in tourism, local industry development, financial literacy, and sustainable enterprise management.

i) Mentor faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders by providing training, statistical assistance, data-gathering support, and consultation services to enhance research quality and inform advocacy efforts across all disciplines.

j) Establish sustainable and forward-looking research programs that continuously address emerging societal needs through a multidisciplinary approach and long-term engagement.
