CSPC through the Research and Development Services Office (RDSO) commits to prioritizing the creation of new knowledge and technology through globally responsive and socially relevant research practices, ensuring that research outputs are transformed into innovation transcending to a globally competitive and forward-thinking research landscape.

The research operations of the Institution is lodged at the RDSO which shall perform the following functions:

Prepare an annual institutional plan and budget;

Initiate institutional research programs/projects/studies;
Lead the effective implementation of the research programs, policies, and activities;
Coordinate with various line agencies and/or non-government institutions/agencies to enhance the research programs of the institution.
Facilitate the publication of college research outputs to Scopus, Web of Science and ASEAN Citation indexed journals.
Coordinate and monitor on-going research programs/projects/studies and activities of the Institution.
Establish a research file and publish faculty research in the research journal, at least, once a year.
Keep records of all contracts, MOAs, and AOs entered into by the Institution relative to its research undertakings.
Oversee the monitoring of all externally-funded research.
