Production and Auxiliary Services (PAxS)

CSPC through the Production and Auxiliary Services (PAxS) aimed at harnessing the resources, facilities, and expertise through research-based and technology-based programs in collaboration with academic colleges, government agencies, partner industries, and other stakeholders, with the end goal of producing high-quality and market-ready products for commercialization. This office plays a critical role in supporting and managing income-generating projects (IGPs) that align with the institution’s vision, mission, goals, quality policy, and objectives.

The office shall perform the following functions:

• Enhance financial efficiency through IGPs, transforming research outputs into viable business opportunities, and operationalizing ventures
• Provide an innovative platforms that drive enterprise development and the production of goods and services to support the institution’s goals;
• Implement programs, policies, and guidelines to achieve targets; and
• Improve efficiency in the management of the division through training and development programs of its personnel.

These are food production-based projects operated on a commercial basis. Under this category are the following projects:

a. Bakeshop/Bakery/Pastry
b. Shared Service Facility – Food Processing

These projects refer to the production, manufacturing, processing, repair, and maintenance of trade and industrial goods and machines operated in a business-like manner. Under this category are the following projects:

a. Fablab (Laser cutting and 3D Printing)
b. Woodworks
c. Other technology-based products

These are projects which have something to do with the provision of services.

c. Merchandising
