The Center for International Relations and Linkages (CIRL) is a dedicated unit in the College, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to internationalize the institution. This includes forging partnerships with global institutions, facilitating international student and faculty exchange programs, coordinating collaborative research initiatives, and promoting a globally-oriented campus culture.
It envisions itself as a catalyst for the collegeโs global impact by fostering international partnerships, enriching the academic experience, and cultivating a diverse and inclusive global community.
It is committed to advancing the institution’s global presence and impact by promoting international collaboration, facilitating cross-cultural exchange, and integrating global perspectives into all aspects of academic, research, and community endeavors.
Guided by the Republic Act No. 7722 also known as Higher Education Act of 1994, and CMO No. 55, Series of 2016 also known as Policy Framework and Strategies on the Internationalization of Philippine Higher Education, CIRL has the following aims:
A) Forge Global Partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with leading international institutions to enhance research, academic programs, and cultural exchange.
B) Facilitate International Mobility: Enable the seamless exchange of students and faculty with partner institutions, fostering a diverse and globally competent academic community.
C) Promote Global Research Collaborations: Facilitate and support collaborative research initiatives between CSPC faculty and international partners to address global challenges and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
D) Integrate Global Perspectives: Infuse global perspectives into curricula, research, and community engagement activities to prepare students for success in an interconnected world.
E) Enrich Internationalization at Home Initiatives: Integrate a culture of internationalization and reflect a global-oriented perspective in all institutional processes, mechanisms, activities and engagements in all the four-fold functions of the institution.
F) Facilitate Inclusion to World Ranking and Rating Systems. Lead the institution in application to various world ranking and rating systems like the QS Star Rating, QS Ranking, Times Higher Education (THE) University Ranking, World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI), Green Metrics, and others.
