Center for Futures Energy and Sustainable Technology

The Center for Future Energy and Sustainable Technology (CFEST) is the premier research arm of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, dedicated to future, renewable energy and sustainable technology. This office unites diverse academic disciplines to craft strategic roadmaps and ground breaking solutions that forge the path toward future energy and sustainable technologies, addressing urgent regional, national, and global challenges

The office shall perform the following functions:

a) Increase external research funding and secure multiple new international research collaborations focused on future energy systems and sustainable technologies;

b) Develop, pilot-test, and achieve initial commercial adoption for multiple affordable and context-specific renewable energy solutions in rural and island communities;

c) Implement sustainable energy solutions in multiple agricultural and aquacultural pilot projects demonstrating improved energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact in those operations;
