𝟯𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) celebrated its 38th Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony on August 20, 2026, at the CSPC Gymnasium, with the theme “Empowering Future Nurses: Shape the Health of the Nation Through Science and Compassionate Action.”

The ceremony marked a significant milestone for CSPC’s nursing students as they formally embraced the values and responsibilities of the nursing profession. Through the capping, pinning, and candle lighting rites, the students were reminded of their commitment to compassionate and dedicated service.

During the occasion, CSPC SUC President III Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr. delivered a message encouraging the future nurses to uphold competence, compassion, integrity, and commitment to service as they prepare to become healthcare professionals.

Dr. Oliva, Jr. emphasized that nursing is not only about knowledge and skills but also about caring for others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and communities.

The ceremony also featured Karen S. Fajardo, MAN, Nurse II of the Neonatal Center, Bicol Medical Center, as guest speaker, who shared valuable insights and encouragement with the future nurses.

The celebration underscored CSPC’s commitment to nurturing competent, compassionate, and service-oriented nurses who will help shape the health of the nation.
