Assoc. Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, Head of the CSPC-Center for International Relations and Linkages, participated in KAPIT-BISIG (Knowledge Advancement in Promoting Inter- university Ties by Building Inclusive Solidarity of International Goals): United from Within to Beyond, a two-day capacity-building program held on July 13–14, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Clark, Pampanga.
Organized by the University of the Philippines Office of International Linkages (UP OIL) and endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the program gathered international relations officers (IROs), internationalization focal persons, academic and administrative personnel, and institutional representatives from state universities and colleges (SUCs) and private higher education institutions (HEIs) across the country.
Throughout the two-day activity, participants engaged in foundational learning modules, policy-to-practice workshops, and collaborative sessions designed to strengthen the
capabilities of institutional international relations offices.
The program concluded with the presentation of awards for the Best Group Presentations and closing remarks from Mr. Guillian M. Mecate, Head of Program Development and Strategy of the UP Office of International Linkages.
