Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) participates in the 2026 Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week (RSTW) in Bicol, hosted by the Department of Science and Technology-Bicol (DOST-Bicol) from August 19 to 21, 2026, at the University of Camarines Norte (UCN) in Daet, Camarines Norte.
Carrying the theme, โSiyensya, Teknolohiya at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Kinabukasan,โ with the sub-theme โScience, Technology, and Digital Innovation Driving Food Security, Sustainable Energy, and National Resilience,โ the 2026 RSTW aims to bring science, technology, and innovation closer to local communities while highlighting their vital role in building resilient and sustainable communities across Bicol.
Representing CSPC during the regional celebration are SUC President III Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr.; Cherry Lyn M. Odsinada, Director of the Bicol Consortium for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (BCIEERD); Quenly M. Galarosa, Project Administrative Assistant IV; and Janden A. Albalate, Administrative Aide III.
CSPC is also represented through RAISE Bicol โ Project 3: Strengthening the Intellectual Property Technology Business Management in CSPC under the RAISE Program Phase 2, with Dr. Yolanda A. Santorcas as Project Leader, together with Kevin Capoles, Project Staff Level 2, and Jhon Ronald Bulalacao, Project Technical Aide 6.
The participation underscores CSPCโs commitment to advancing research, innovation, intellectual property, and technology-based initiatives that contribute to regional development and national resilience.
Through its continued engagement in science, technology, and innovation activities, CSPC strengthens its role as an institution committed to transforming research and innovation into meaningful solutions for communities and society.
