The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) participated in the official launching of Project PAG-IBIG at Romblon State University, highlighted by the virtual signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among participating State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and the signing of the Manifesto of Commitment, reaffirming the institutions’ collective dedication to advancing gender-responsive and family-friendly programs. The launching was attended by Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong Office of CHED Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong

Representing CSPC, Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr., SUC President III, attended the MOU signing ceremony virtually, expressing the College’s support for the implementation of Project PAG-IBIG and its objectives of promoting inclusive and supportive environments within higher education institutions.

Following the launching program, the Child-Minding Facility, also known as the Family Empowerment Center, was re-launched and inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Dr. Jocelyn O. Jintalan (VPAA), Dr. Challiz D. Omorog (VPRIC), Mrs. Nancy Penetrante (VPAF), Mrs. Shirley M. Illo (SAO), and Mrs. Gigi Severo, Head of the Center for Gender and Development (CGAD).

The establishment of the Child-Minding Facility and Family Empowerment Center reflects CSPC’s continuing commitment to creating a more supportive, inclusive, and family-centered campus community. This initiative aims to provide a safe and nurturing space for children while promoting the welfare and productivity of students, employees, and stakeholders.

Through its active participation in Project PAG-IBIG and the opening of the Child-Minding Facility and Family Empowerment Center, CSPC further strengthens its advocacy for gender equality, inclusivity, and holistic community development.
