The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing for the Bicol Riser Consortium was successfully held in conjunction with the Budget Forum on February 5, 2026, at Vela Hotel in Legazpi City. The event brought together representatives of participating institutions, research leaders, and technical personnel to formally establish the consortium for Fiscal Year 2026 and align priorities on projects, budget plans, and implementation strategies.
Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) was represented by Dr. Amado A. Oliva Jr., SUC President III, one of the MOA signatories, together with Dr. Harold Jan R. Terano, Director of the Research and Development Services Office; Ms. Ludilyn B. Agapito, Head of RiCES; Mr. Joseph Jessie S. Oรฑate, Head of AIRCoDe; and Ms. Cherry Lyn M. Odsinada, Director of BCIEERD. Under the consortium, CSPC will implement a research project with an approved โฑ10 million budget for FY 2026, underscoring the institutionโs significant contribution to the regionโs research and innovation agenda.
The activity marks a vital step toward stronger collaboration and a shared commitment to advancing research and development initiatives in the Bicol Region.
