Two student leaders from the CSPC-College of Arts and Sciences were honored by the Schools Division Office of Camarines Sur during the 1st Gawad Siklab on August 6, 2025, at the Capitol Complex in Cadlan for their exemplary service and commitment to youth leadership.
Samantha P. Ciscon, a third-year AB English Language Studies (ELS) student, was recognized for her remarkable service as President of the Baao District Federation of Supreme Secondary Learnersโ Government (SY 2022โ2023). Her leadership continues to inspire the youth, reflecting a commitment that transcends her tenure in office.
Donabelle A. Barja, a second-year BS Development Communication student, received the award for her outstanding contributions as President of the Nabua District Federation of Supreme Secondary Learnersโ Government (SY 2023โ2024) and Treasurer of the Division Federation of SSLG (SY 2023โ2024). She also represented Camarines Sur as a Mental Health Advocate during the Learners Convergence Philippines 2023โ2024 as one of the Bicol Region delegates.
The commendation, as stated in the award citation, recognized their โunwavering dedication, servant leadership, and continued commitment to the Filipino youth beyond their tenure.โ
It further highlighted that their service was not born out of obligation but out of purposeโserving as guiding lights for the next generation of student leaders.
