The CSPC-College of Arts and Sciences successfully concluded its Virtual Mobility Program with Politeknik Negeri Padang (PNP), Indonesia, for the 2nd semester of Academic Year 2024โ€“2025, covering the period from January to May 2025.

Two Indonesian faculty members, Mr. Gema Febriansyah, who handled Discourse Analysis with AB English Language Studies students, and Mr. Gilang Surendra, S.IP., M.I.Kom, who taught Communication Theories with BS Development Communication students, delivered a series of engaging virtual lectures as part of the academic collaboration. Their Filipino counterparts were Mr. Dan Fereth B. Fajardo and Ms. Gigi Severo, respectively.

The virtual closing program featured a warm set of activities, starting with an opening prayer and welcome remarks from CAS Dean Dr. Marlon S. Pontillas. Representing PNP, Mr. Ihsan Lumasa Rimra delivered a heartfelt message highlighting the value of this cross-border partnership.

Mr. Gilang Surendra shared his personal experience teaching CSPC students, highlighting the cultural exchange and mutual learning. The Indonesian faculty was awarded certificates, and Mr. Filmor Murillo, CIRL Head, concluded the program with remarks on the plans for continued collaboration.

This virtual exchange program reflects the CASโ€™s commitment to internationalization and cross-cultural academic engagement, offering enriching experiences for both students and faculty members.
