THE STUDENT TEACHERS OF CAMARINES SUR POLYTECHNIC COLLEGES ATTEND PAFTE 2025 REGIONAL CONGRESS

The 2025 PAFTE Regional Student Teachersโ€™ Congress, organized by the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, Inc. (PAFTE) Region V, was successfully held today, April 2, 2025, at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City, Albay.

One of the highlights of the event was the Awarding Ceremonies, where exceptional student teachers and researchers were honored in two key competitions: (1) Search for Ten Outstanding Student Teachers (TOST) โ€“ recognizing future educators who have excelled in both teaching and research and (2) Research Competition โ€“ highlighting innovative and impactful studies in education.

Representing the College of Technological and Developmental Education (CTDE) were Dr. Patrick Gerard A. Paulino, Dean of the college, Mr. Benedic V. Baluyot, Dr. Marivel F. Paycana, and Dr. Niรฑa SF Sibulo, Mr. Bryan B. Amaranto, faculty members, along with 180 students comprising of third- and fourth-year student participants who actively engaged in discussions and activities.

The 2025 PAFTE Regional Student Teachersโ€™ Congress brought together faculty members, administrators, program heads, deans, fresh graduates, and third- and fourth-year student teachers from various teacher education institutions across Region V to discuss critical issues in education and recognize outstanding student teachers. This reaffirmed the commitment of educators and institutions in shaping the next generation of teachers, preparing them to embrace challenges, innovate in their practices, and contribute meaningfully to the field of education.
