On February 27, 2025, the CSPC โ College of Technological and Developmental Education (CTDE) successfully hosted Project CITADELL: An Extension Program for Learners with Special Literacy Needs and Their Parents. This initiative, in collaboration with the CSPC-Extension Community Services Office, Angat Buhay, Inc. “Bayan Ko, Titser Ko” (BKTK) Reading & Literacy Program, and the Sto. This event marked the official opening of the BKTK 15-Day Reading & Literacy Program, reinforcing the commitment to fostering reading proficiency and lifelong learning. A gift-giving activity was also held, ensuring that learners received school kits and bags to support their educational journey.
Mrs. Cherry Ann Audal-Neonal, Operations Head, set the tone with an inspiring Welcome Message. Esteemed educators delivered messages of encouragement, Dr. Patrick Gerard A. Paulino, Dean of CTDE, addressed the volunteer tutors, while Dr. Alberto L. Hernandez, SDES Principal, motivated the learner-beneficiaries.
A special performance by the CTDE-College Student Council Officers energized the audience. A key highlight was the distribution of school kits and bags, made possible by Sto. Domingo Community Learning Hub, Bradelinas Foundation, and the CTDE-College Student Council. This was led by CTDE and SDES officials, with assistance from Dr. Marivel F. Paycana, proponent of Project CITADELL and CSC adviser, along with the CTDE-CSC officers.
