Celebrations are in for Blue Stallions, as the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) finished first runner-up during the Regional SCUAA Games 2025 on February 17-21, 2025, at Camarines Norte State College, Daet, Camarines Norte.
The CSPC Blue Stallions amassed 47 gold, 33 silver, and 28 bronze medals, bringing home a total of 108 medals during the five-day sporting event versus eight other state universities and colleges in Bicol.
Among the various sporting disciplines, CSPCโs strong performance in archery and swimming played a key role in the collegeโs massive medal count, with archery raking in 16 gold and swimming contributing 13 gold medals.
Meanwhile, Bicol Universityโs (BU) back-to-back championship comes as no surprise, with the universityโs unmatched record of 132 gold, 73 silver, and 83 bronze medals, solidifying its dominance in the field of sports in the region.
Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) slipped to a second runner-up finish from being 2023โs first runner-up, settling with 44 gold, 40 silver, and 33 bronze medals.
Jumping three placements up from its partial ranking, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) boosted its medal count to grab the third runner-up, with 27 gold, 73 silver, and 28 bronze medals.
Not far behind are the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST) with 22 gold, 27 silver, and 28 bronze medals and Catanduanes State University (CatSU) with 20 gold, 38 silver, and 30 bronze medals, filling the fourth and fifth runners-up positions, respectively.
Top athletes during the RSCUAA Games will represent the Bicol Region in the National SCUAA Games 2025, slated to take place at Camiguin Island.
