Rinconada cuisines, firmly rooted in tradition, demonstrate the communityโ€™s connection to their tinubuanโ€”the land that nourishes them. The ingredients, recipes, and culinary techniques passed down through generations manifest the communityโ€™s relationship with its environment, embodying the resilience and adaptability of Rinconada communities.

To explore and celebrate this connection, the Center for Rinconada Culture and the Arts (CRCA) organizes a series of activities centered around Rinconada food heritage. These include talks, cooking demonstrations, and recipe presentations, with a particular focus on underutilized ingredients endemic to Rinconada. By highlighting these often-overlooked ingredients, CRCA hopes to facilitate the rediscovery and revitalization of traditional food practices, ensuring their continued relevance in modern culinary practice.
