The Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) Bicol Chapter sponsored the 2024 Bicol Regional Student Teachers’ Congress, at the Legazpi City Convention Center, Legazpi City, with the theme: “Embracing Global Citizenship Education as a Transformative Pedagogy.” Dr. Rebecca O. Bercasio, Director of the BU Center for Teaching Excellence and Focal Person of the Global Citizenship Education (GCED) Regional Hub for Bicol, of Bicol University, Legazpi City, served as Keynote Speaker.
The CSPC-CTDE, as an active member of the organization, sent its 4th-year pre-service teachers to attend the congress. Additionally, Mr. Romeo B. Sotto and Dr. Michelle L. Junio, faculty members of the college, were present at the congress to accompany the students and also served as members of the technical committee.
