PAPSAS Event Highlights: Region 1 Secures National Board Seat during the three-day conference

In a landmark moment for the Philippine Association of Professional Student Affairs and Services (PAPSAS), the recent event witnessed several significant developments, including the election of new board members and the establishment of Region 1’s first-ever seat on the PAPSAS National Board. The 28th PAPSAS Convention was held on November 15-17, 2023 at Fort Ilocandia Resort, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. 

The event, held in a grand setting, featured a range of highlights, including a memorable experience for many attendees. Among the notable moments was the opportunity to co-emcee alongside Ms. Cherrylyn Rona Sallutal-Ramos and Ms. Angelina Alcatraz, PAPSAS Corporate Secretary. This role not only highlighted the collaborative spirit of the event but also provided a platform for recognizing outstanding contributions within the organization.

This event marks a significant step forward for PAPSAS Region 1 and underscores the commitment of its members to advancing student affairs and services on a national scale. Unlearning, Learning and Relearning approaches and Upskilling competences in Systems and Anticipatory Thinking in Sustainable Student Affairs and Services was the main emphasis of the three-day conference.
