The CSPC Center for Gender and Development (CGAD) is committed to promoting gender equality and women empowerment in all aspects of institutional life. The CGAD serves as a catalyst for positive change, fostering a supportive environment where all individuals, regardless of gender, can thrive and reach their full potential.

Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the coordination, monitoring and implementation of CSPC GAD Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs).
  2. Consolidate the CSPC GAD Plan and Budget and Accomplishment Report.
  3. Submit the CSPC GAD Plan and Budget for submission to various monitoring agencies.
  4. Consolidate sex-disaggregated data reports from colleges/offices/units.
  5. Safe keep the documents, records and reports of the CSPC GAD Focal Point System (GFPS).
  6. Offer comprehensive GAD training programs and workshops to raise awareness about gender issues and promote gender equality.
  7. Foster partnerships and collaborations with external organizations, community groups, and government agencies to address gender-related challenges and promote social justice.
  8. Provide counseling and support services related to GAD Concerns to individuals in need.
  9. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of GPS GAD programs and initiatives to ensure they are achieving their intended outcomes and making a positive impact.
