The Legal Affairs Unit (LAU) shall ensure that the College is legally represented, provided with legal advice, counseling, and see to it that all contracts, deeds and conveyances, and other legal documents are in order.
The legal office shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Litigate all court cases where the interest of the College if being challenged or when the College
is a party to a lawsuit as instructed by the College President.
- Coordinate and work closely with the Office of the SOLGEN for College cases;
- Represent the College on legal matters;
- Provide legal advice and counseling for the College;
- Assist in any administrative investigation of the College;
- Formulate, review, and keep records of all legal documents concerning the University; and
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the College President.
