SUC President III Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr. represented Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) during the Day 3 sessions of the 2026 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Annual Convention and General Assembly held on July 15, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
One of the highlights of the second day was the keynote address of Hon. Shirley C. Agrupis, Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), who delivered her presentation titled โTransforming Higher Education Together: Shared Leadership, Stronger Partnership, Greater Impact.โ
In her address, Chairperson Agrupis underscored the value of collaborative leadership and strengthened partnerships among higher education institutions and government agencies in advancing quality, inclusive, and globally competitive education.
Dr. Olivaโs participation reflects CSPCโs continuing commitment to institutional excellence, strategic governance, and active engagement in national initiatives that contribute to the advancement of Philippine higher education.
The 2026 PASUC Annual Convention and General Assembly is being held from July 13 to 15, 2026, bringing together SUC leaders, policymakers, and education stakeholders to foster collaboration and shape the future of higher education in the Philippines.
