Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), led by SUC President III Dr. Amado A. Oliva Jr., together with Dr. Marlon S. Pontillas, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and Mr. Kevin Sean D. Rada, Private Secretary to the President and Instructor I of CAS, participated in the ACHIEVING BEYOND: 2nd Presidentsโ€™ Roundtable Meeting for Unified Strategic Growth, held on July 8โ€“9, 2026, in Pampanga.

The CSPC delegation joined presidents and academic leaders from state universities and colleges (SUCs) across the country in the two-day engagement organized under the Office of CHED Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong.

The gathering provided a platform for higher education leaders to forge strategic partnerships, explore opportunities for institutional advancement, and strengthen collaboration toward unified and sustainable growth in Philippine higher education.

Held at Dโ€™Heights Resort Golf & Country Club on July 8, the roundtable proper opened with a session led by Commissioner Ong, followed by presentations from representatives of various government agencies, educational institutions, foundations, and industry partners.

Discussions centered on academic development, internationalization, graduate employability, student leadership, Sustainable Development Goals implementation, learning resource development, industry linkages, and other strategic initiatives for higher education institutions.

The event also featured breakout sessions and the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and industry partners.

On July 9, Dr. Oliva, Dr. Pontillas, and Mr. Rada joined fellow delegates in a cultural immersion in South Pampanga and an industry immersion in the Clark Freeport Zone.

The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, President and CEO of the Clark Development Corporation, where potential internship opportunities, industry partnerships, and stronger linkages between SUCs and the growing economic landscape of Clark and New Clark City were explored.

CSPCโ€™s participation in the national roundtable underscores its continuing commitment to building meaningful partnerships, advancing institutional innovation, and pursuing opportunities that will benefit its students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
