JAKARTA, INDONESIA — Advancing its commitment to global recognition and sustainable institutional development, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), through the Center for International Relations and Linkages (CIRL), joined higher education leaders and sustainability advocates at the Times Higher Education (THE) Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026, held on June 22–25, 2026, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition in Jakarta.
A/Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, Head of CIRL, represented the institution as part of the official Philippine delegation endorsed and organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Co-hosted by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, the congress brought together the world’s leading thinkers, policymakers, and actors from various sectors to foster cross-sectoral collaboration and drive positive action toward a more sustainable future.
Throughout the four-day event, CSPC engaged in key plenary lectures, technical workshops, and high-level networking sessions.
The mission aligns with CSPC’s roadmap to integrate sustainability beyond campus operations into core academic, research, extension, and governance functions.
