The โ€œORGULYO: Pagpupugay, Pag-alalay, at Pagbangonโ€ initiative was successfully held, highlighting a meaningful celebration of the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of Senior Citizens, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and Retirees in the community. The program served as a platform to honor individuals whose lifelong service and experiences continue to inspire, while also addressing their vulnerabilities, especially during times of crisis.

Rooted in the institutionโ€™s core values of service and human development, the initiative emphasized inclusivity and compassion. It also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). Through various activities, the program aimed to provide support, promote health awareness, and empower marginalized sectors toward resilience and active community participation.

The event featured a series of informative and impactful talks from esteemed speakers. Mari Len A. Amoroso, RN, MAN, CHS Extension Coordinator, led discussions on health advocacy for the elderly. Sheena Carolyn S. Sedeno, CHS Extension Coordinator, facilitated health assessment initiatives and Dr. Gemma S. Clet, CSPC Guidance Specialist, presents the topic on Health Advocacy: Stress Management.

Through collaboration and shared purpose, the ORGULYO initiative stood as a testament to the communityโ€™s commitment to uplift, support, and recognize sectors that continue to shape society with dignity and strength.
