CSPC-CRCA Launches Arayo-Arani-Isadi: CSPC National Arts Month Celebration 2026

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) is vibrating with creativity as it stages “Arayo-Arani-Isadi: CSPC National Arts Month Celebration 2026,” scheduled from February 6 to 13, 2026, this multi-day cultural event brings together students through art, music, literature, and theater to explore themes of memory, identity, and belonging.

Grounded in the Rinconada concepts of arayo (distance), arani (nearness), and isadi (presence), the Organizers describe the initiative as an effort to situate personal and cultural narratives within a shared creative environment while promoting inclusivity and equitable representation.

The heart of the celebration is a four-day Art Fair from February 10 to 13, where Art Appreciation classes will curate interactive booths interpreting the festival theme through visual and performative works. The exhibit aims to transform the venue into a collaborative space for storytelling that reflects diverse lived experiences and challenges gender stereotypes.

Complementing the fair is a Bikol Songwriting Contest on February 11, encouraging original musical compositions that express personal and communal narratives. Performances will be staged live, turning individual memory into a collective cultural experience and supporting the vitality of the local language. Running from February 6 to 11, the Love Letter Writing Contest, themed “The Letters We Couldn’t Send: Love Confessions that Defy Boundaries,” invites participants to explore stories of love shaped by separation, social constraints, and marginalized identities. The contest promotes empathy and visibility by providing a platform for diverse expressions of affection, including LGBTQ+ and cross-cultural relationships. On February 12, a Training-Workshop on Gender-Sensitive Storytelling, Playwriting, and Direction for Theaterwill feature the play Ang Mutya ng Sitio Kuliti by Carlos A. Arejola. The workshop will examine themes of gender expression and acceptance through theatrical practice and include a talkback session designed to foster dialogue on representation and inclusion. Through “Arayo-Arani-Isadi: CSPC National Arts Month Celebration 2026,” CSPC aims to strengthen cultural awareness and artistic engagement while advancing gender-responsive programming. Organizers emphasize that the event positions art as a meeting ground where remembrance, identity, and social reflection converge, enabling students and communities to engage with evolving cultural narratives.
