The CSPC Research and Development Services Office (RDSO) successfully conducted an Orientation on Research Policies, Guidelines, and Procedures via Zoom, bringing together faculty members and researchers for a collaborative, informative learning session to strengthen institutional research practices.
The program formally opened with Welcome Remarks by Dr. Challiz D. Omorog, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Collaboration, followed by an inspirational message from Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr., SUC President III.
Key discussions included the Orientation on Scopus, Grammarly, and a quick rundown regarding NVivo, led by Ms. Kristy Anne Corpuz, Customer Success Officer of CE-Logic; the presentation of the R&D Agenda by Ms. Cherry Lyn M. Odsimada, Head of the Research Management Unit; and an in-depth discussion on Research Policies, Guidelines, and Procedures by Dr. Harold Jan R. Terano, Director of the Research and Development Services Office.
Moreover, an orientation on Turnitin was facilitated by Mr. Renato A. Adriano IV, MIS Staff, providing guidance on academic integrity and plagiarism prevention. The activity concluded with an Open Forum, allowing participants to raise concerns and seek clarifications, followed by Closing Remarks delivered by Dr. Harold Jan R. Terano.
This initiative showcases CSPC’s continuing commitment to fostering a strong, ethical, and productive research culture.
