Rizal Technological University (RTU) and Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) officially formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on January 29, 2026, at the CSPC College Board Room. The collaboration aims to strengthen initiatives in research development and international collaboration between the two institutions.

The signing ceremony was attended by RTU officials led by Assoc. Prof. Donato Estocada, Director of the International and Alumni Linkages Office (IALO); Instr. Joel Mark Rodriguez, RDIO Unit Head; Instr. Joven Baltazar, RDIO Staff; Instr. Diomel Gillesania, Technology Transfer Staff and Dr. Salvacion Pachejo, Vice President for Planning, Quality Assurance, and Strategic Initiatives (VP-PQASI).

Representing CSPC were Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr., SUC President III; Dr. Challiz D. Omorog, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Collaboration; Dr. Jocelyn O. Jintalan, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Harold Jan R. Terano, Director of Research and Development Services; Prof. Filmor Murillo, Head, Center for International Relations Linkages along with members of the CSPC Top Management.

The partnership is expected to pave the way for collaborative research projects, faculty and student exchanges, joint publications, and international academic engagementsโ€”reinforcing both institutionsโ€™ commitment to innovation, global competitiveness, and academic excellence. This strategic alliance marks a significant step toward advancing research capabilities and internationalization efforts, contributing to sustainable development and knowledge exchange in higher education.
