Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges has officially received its QS 3 Stars Rating Certificate during the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific held on November 4-6, 2025 at Korea University, Seoul, Korea. The award was received by Assoc. Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, Head of CSPCโs Center for International Relations and Linkages (CIRL).

The Certificate articulates that CSPC has been awarded 3 Stars and โRated for Excellenceโ after โrigorous and independent data collection and analysis of performance metrics as set out in the QS methodology. Aside from getting a 3-Star average, CSPC earned various rating in different categories: 3 Stars for Employability and Academic Development; 4 Stars for Facilities and Teaching; and 5 Stars for Social Impact and Good Governance. The โQS Starsโข rating system evaluates universities across a wide spectrum of important performance indicators as set against pre-established international standards. By assessing a broader scope of criteria than any world ranking exercise, QS Starsโข illuminates the unique strengths and diversity of the rated institution with both precision and clarityโ.
Assoc. Prof Murillo also represented CSPC at the QS Summit as part of the Philippine delegation that was headed by CHED Commissioner Michelle Aguilar – Ong, who also sits as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of CSPC. The delegation joined more than 2000 participants from various higher education institution and academic organizations from the Asia Pacific region.
