𝐂𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐐𝐒 𝟑 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃, 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐏𝐇 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐐𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓⭐️

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges has officially received its QS 3 Stars Rating Certificate during the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific held on November 4-6, 2025 at Korea University, Seoul, Korea. The award was received by Assoc. Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, Head of CSPC’s Center for International Relations and Linkages (CIRL).

The Certificate articulates that CSPC has been awarded 3 Stars and “Rated for Excellence” after “rigorous and independent data collection and analysis of performance metrics as set out in the QS methodology. Aside from getting a 3-Star average, CSPC earned various rating in different categories: 3 Stars for Employability and Academic Development; 4 Stars for Facilities and Teaching; and 5 Stars for Social Impact and Good Governance. The “QS Stars™ rating system evaluates universities across a wide spectrum of important performance indicators as set against pre-established international standards. By assessing a broader scope of criteria than any world ranking exercise, QS Stars™ illuminates the unique strengths and diversity of the rated institution with both precision and clarity”.

Assoc. Prof Murillo also represented CSPC at the QS Summit as part of the Philippine delegation that was headed by CHED Commissioner Michelle Aguilar – Ong, who also sits as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of CSPC. The delegation joined more than 2000 participants from various higher education institution and academic organizations from the Asia Pacific region.

QS dubs the Summit as “Asia Pacific’s leading platform for collaboration and innovation in higher education” that explored “how universities in Asia Pacific can inspire success across generations by nurturing an environment for skill development and research for the betterment of us all” and featured “forward-thinking conversations on the future of education, offer networking and partnership development opportunities, and best practice workshops”.

The Summit has provided the participants in-depth insights about the QS World University Ranking, diverse opportunities to network with other participants, and a dynamic platform to establish partnerships with foreign higher education institutions.
