Two faculty members from the CSPC-College of Arts and Sciences showcased their research during the 6th International Conference on Education, Environment, and Agriculture (ICEEA 2025) held on September 18โ19, 2025, via Zoom.
Dr. Marlon S. Pontillas, Dean of CAS, together with Karla Mae N. Sirios and Marc Paul C. Sallao, presented their study, โA Convergent Mixed Methods Study on the Awareness and Engagement of Arts and Sciences Students in a Philippine Campus Publication, ” virtually. The research, using qualitative analysis, highlighted the role of campus publications in strengthening student voice, awareness, and participation.
In another session, Ejay F. Barcinilla, also from CAS, delivered a virtual presentation of his paper โTeaching Philosophy, Teaching Style, and ICT Competency of Faculty in a HyFlex Learning Modality at a Polytechnic State College in the Philippines during the โNew Normal.โโ His study emphasized faculty adaptability and ICT skills in sustaining flexible learning approaches in higher education after the pandemic.
Carrying the theme โInnovation Solution for Resilience: Advancing Education, Agriculture, and Environmental Stewardship,โ ICEEA 2025 gathered international scholars, educators, and policymakers to share research breakthroughs and innovations that address global challenges in sustainability and education.
Through their active participation, CSPC-CAS faculty reaffirmed the collegeโs commitment to international research collaboration, promoting academic excellence and contributing to sustainable development goals.
