Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) congratulates Engr. Keith Marlon R. Tabal for presenting his research paper, “Logistic Regression-based Inattention Detection via EEG-IMU Sensor Fusion in Smart Headgear,” at the 11th IEEE International Conference on Smart Instrumentation, Measurement, and Application (ICSIMA 2025) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on September 10 and 11, 2025.
With the theme “Intelligent Instrumentation and Measurement for Smart Industrial Applications,” ICSIMA 2025 brought together researchers, industry professionals, and academics from across the globe to share advancements in instrumentation and smart technologies. The event featured keynote presentations from Prof. Dr. Zheng Liu of The University of British Columbia on imaging and vision systems for industrial inspection, and Dr. Ooi Boon Yaik of Universiti Teknologi Petronas on affordable cloud-based data logging solutions.
As the flagship conference of the IEEE Malaysia Section Instrumentation and Measurement Society (IMS), ICSIMA has a well-established tradition of publishing proceedings in IEEE Xplore, with editions from 2013 to 2024 already indexed. The 2025 conference continued this legacy, providing an international platform for innovation, collaboration, and the exchange of research insights shaping the future of smart industrial systems.
Engr. Tabal’s participation highlights CSPC’s growing presence in the global research arena and reaffirms the institution’s commitment to advancing innovation, excellence, and collaboration within the international scientific community.
