The CSPC-College of Arts and Sciences, through its Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BS DevCom) students and faculty extensionists, spearheaded a two-day workshop on filmmaking and broadcasting on September 4โ5, 2025 at the Annex campus of Baao National High School.
The training gathered members of the Simurai Publication, the schoolโs official student publication, who participated in sessions covering the three key stages of filmmaking production as well as a refresher course on broadcasting. The activity aimed to strengthen the skills of student journalists in creating relevant and compelling media outputs.
This initiative reflects CASโs continuing commitment to community extension services, particularly in enhancing the competencies of the youth in media and communication for developmental impact.
