CAS Language Faculty attend LLICON 2025

Faculty members from the CSPC-College of Arts and Sciences actively participated in the 2025 Language and Literature International Conference (LLICON 2025), held on September 4–6, 2025 at Ateneo de Naga University with the theme “Language, Literature, and History: Interfacing Past Paradigms and Emerging Trends Toward Future-Driven and Interdisciplinary Scholarship and Pedagogies.”

CSPC was represented by Dan Fereth Fajardo, Filmor Murillo, Dr. Marietta Tataro, Nicky Gem Rivera, and Dr. Marlon Pontillas. As a strategic partner of the conference, CSPC played a vital role in its success—Dr. Pontillas served as Master of Ceremonies, while Mr. Murillo and Mr. Fajardo moderated paper presentation tracks.

The three-day event featured keynote addresses, scholarly paper presentations, cultural showcases, and opportunities for international collaboration. Adding vibrance, the CSPC Performing Arts presented a cultural performance that highlighted the institution’s artistry and heritage.

Through LLICON 2025, CSPC reaffirmed its commitment to advancing scholarship in language and literature while strengthening its role as a key contributor to interdisciplinary research, pedagogy, and cultural development.
