BS Math Program Chair receives International Research Award

Mr. Alex Ralph B. Nieva, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, was honored with the Research Article Citation Award by the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research (PAIR), Inc., during the opening ceremony of the 5th Asian Conference on Educational Development (ACED), which was held via Zoom on August 16, 2025.

The award recognizes the scholarly influence of Mr. Nieva’s publications, which have earned citations in both international and local platforms.

His works include “Academic Performance and Mental Ability of Students as Determinants in Passing the Licensure Examinations for Teachers” (2017), “On Some Properties of Non-traceable Cubic Bridge Graph” (2022), and “On Matching Number, Decomposition and Representation of Well-formed Graph” (2023).

Mr. Nieva’s recognition underscores CSPC’s growing research culture and international presence, inspiring students and faculty to pursue impactful scholarship that advances both theoretical knowledge and global academic discourse.
