The national event, “Futures Thinking in Extension: Fostering Resilient Communities in a Changing World,” gathered extension professionals, researchers, and leaders from various higher education institutions to strengthen collaboration and promote innovative, resilience-based community engagement.
Representing CSPC-CAS, Marlon S. Pontillas, Ph.D., Daisylen D. Alano, MAEd, Charles V. Bolival, JD, MPA, and Romer F. Beltran-Yu, MAEd, actively participated in plenary sessions, breakout presentations, and institutional networking activities.
A highlight of the event was the election of the new set of officers for the Bicol Global Extension Network (BiGEN), where Charles V. Bolival was elected as auditor, Daisylen D. Alano as business manager, and Dr. Marlon S. Pontillas as member of the board representing Camarines Sur.
Their election reflects CSPC’s strong commitment to regional leadership in extension work and innovation.
