Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) and the Bicol Association of Language and Literature Teachers (BALLT), Inc., officially solidified their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held on April 28, 2025, at the CSPC Boardroom.
The event began with an opening program featuring the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the CSPC Hymn. Dr. Marlon S. Pontillas, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, warmlyย welcomed the participants, followed by an inspirational message from Dr. Jocelyn O. Jintalan, Vice President for Academic Affairs of CSPC. Dr. Jenifer R. Sevilla, president of BALLT, Inc.,delivered the rationale behind the MOA signing.
Messages of commitment were shared by Dr. Virna Villanueva, Auditor of BALLT, Inc., and Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr., SUC President III of CSPC, emphasizing the shared commitment to promoting language and literature education excellence.
Following the MOA signing by Dr. Jenifer R. Sevilla and Dr. Amado A. Oliva, Jr., a commemorative photo session took place with officials and witnesses.
The program concluded with closing remarks delivered by Mr. Dan Fereth B. Fajardo, Program Chair of AB English Language Studies at CSPC, who highlighted the significance of the partnership in enhancing academic and professional opportunities for language and literature educators.
