Ms. Juliana Marie D. Bolivar, a Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) student, has secured a spot in the Top 5 of the Regional Search for 10 Outstanding Student Teachers (Elementary Category), organized by the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, Inc. (PAFTE) Region V.
The first phase of the competition involved the evaluation of the participants’ submitted e-portfolios, which included their lesson plans and other instructional materials. The second phase, consisting of a demonstration teaching and an interview, was held on March 27, 2025 at the Bicol University Daraga Albay.
Ms. Bolivar has been under the mentorship of Dr. Niรฑa SF. Sibulo, Faculty Member and Program Chair of the BSNEd program.
This prestigious competition serves as one of the key highlights of this yearโs PAFTE Regional Student Teachers’ Congress.
