Strengthening academe-industry linkage, the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – CSPC Student Chapter (IECEP-CSPC SC) members and alumni joined the Analog Devices Academe Expo (ADXP) 2024 on September 30 until October 1, 2024, at the Analog Devices Gen. Trias, Inc., Cavite.
With their paper on the Computer Vision-Based Eggplant Grading and Sorting System selected among entries from around the country, CSPC alumna Joyce Ababa, Michelle Ann Baliwag, Amabel Dezemo, Ma. Katleen Kate Librando, and Ghemary Liz represented the institution in the Technical Paper Presentation as mentored by their technical adviser, Engr. Jose Eduardo B. Cerillo II.
Student participants including Lorenz Anthony Caldito, Kyle Eligoyo, Fernan Matthew Enimedez, Joberth Longares, Riziel Loquias, and Abbe Gerald Rivero were able to explore ADI innovations in the ADI & Student Demo Booths, IC Layout Design Workshop, and ADI Philippines Campus Tour together with Engr. Joshua Biag and Engr. Vincent E. Malapo.
Furthermore, Engr. Jaymark Baynado, IECEP CSPC SC’s former president and now one of ADPhil’s Associate Engineer (Test Engineering – Product Development), was designated as the institution’s Campus Ambassador championing the company’s engagement with the institution.
