CAS honored for Extension Initiatives at San Juan Integrated School

In an inspiring display of partnership and gratitude, the San Juan Integrated School (SJIS), under the guidance of Dr. Maricel B. Bernal, the school principal, recently hosted a ceremony where Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges – College of Arts and Sciences (CSPC-CAS) was honored with a Plaque of Commendation and a Certificate of Appreciation.

This recognition ceremony happened last October 4, 2025, at SJIS. The ceremony was attended by notable CSPC figures, including President Dr. Amado A. Oliva Jr., Vice President for Research, Extension, Production, and Entrepreneurial Development, Dr. Challiz D. Omorog, and Mrs. Daisylen Alano, the former CAS Extension Coordinator, now the Extension Director, signifying the strong support from CSPC’s leadership for community and extension activities.

Special thanks were extended to Dean Marlon S. Pontillas of the College of Arts and Sciences, whose continuous support for the Extension Service Office and the Bachelor of Human Services Program has been a critical factor in the success of CSPC’s community engagements.

The event underscores the shared commitment of SJIS and CSPC to fostering educational excellence and community development.
